UdayKriti Kaushal Programme Earn While You Learn
Building Resilient Livelihoods with Dignity for Youth in Urban Slums
In communities where daily wages are often more important and urgent than a classroom, learning must make space for earning. AAt UdayKriti, we believe that every young person — even those in the most marginalised communities — deserves digital skills, meaningful employment, and a future free from addiction and despair.
Our flagship UdayKriti Kaushal Programme addresses critical issues—youth unemployment, digital exclusion, income insecurity, and substance abuse — through a transformative blend of sports, digital skilling, and livelihoods support. It is not simply a training programme, but a holistic pathway to empowerment, financial independence, digital inclusion, long-term resilience and hope.
The Solution
Our solution bridges this gap by creating safe, local learning spaces where young people can build market-ready digital skills—and start earning within weeks. This is what makes our programme unique
Sports-Driven Outreach for Behavioural Change
We begin by engaging youth through structured sports programs —football, cricket, athletics —anchored in community spaces to generate interest and bring long-term behavioural change, delivering crucial life skills, inculcating discipline and creating awareness on harmful effects of drugs and substance abuse. International evidence (e.g., UNODC’s 2021 Commission on Narcotic Drugs report) highlights that sports can significantly reduce youth’s risk of initiating substance use, boosting self-esteem, resilience, and social connectedness. Through disciplined drills, team play, and mentorship, we channel energy away from drugs and towards positive routines and peer support.
Hyper-Local Micro Learning Hubs
We set up tech-enabled hyperlocal micro learning hubs right inside underserved neighbourhoods, hosted by trusted community organisations, giving the learners a reassurance of safety and trust. These micro hubs are equipped with refurbished laptops, tablets, internet, and electricity and are designed to serve 100-120 youth per year.
Market-Driven Digital Curriculum
We don’t teach what sounds good. We teach what works. Our curriculum is co-created with digital industry partners with practical insights with an intention to give hands-on experience to the participants and designed for real earning opportunities. The learners will gain
- Entrepreneurship & law
- Digital & financial literacy
- AI microtasking
- Web development
- Freelancing & gig skills
- Work readiness skills
Earn While You Learn – Income Within Weeks
We have strategically inbuilt earning during learning to offset the cost of acquisition of skills through strategic partnership with various organisations to provide opportunities to the youth in the below-mentioned avenues:
- AI and impact sourcing jobs
- Real-world assignments from NGOs and small businesses.
- Freelance projects on digital platforms
Most learners begin earning ₹3,000–₹5,000 per month within the f4 to 6 weeks of enrollment proving that digital skilling can be both aspirational and practical.
Mentorship and Peer Leadership
We don’t just train individuals—we build ecosystems of support and peer-led growth.
- High-potential learners become peer facilitators, with leadership stipends
- Volunteer mentors from tech and impact sectors offer real-world guidance
- College students provide digital handholding and motivation
This model nurtures confidence, leadership, and local ownership—ensuring sustainability beyond the classroom.
Tech-Powered, Scalable, and Ecosystem-Ready
- 80% of our content is delivered digitally—via mobile-first tools
- Live feedback and performance tracking ensure responsiveness
- We collaborate with CSR partners, community networks, and digital experts to make the model scalable across Indian cities and globally adaptable

Why It Works
By weaving together sports, digital education, and income, the UdayKriti Kaushal Programme creates a feedback loop that addresses both emotional and economic vulnerabilities:
- Sports build trust and redirect youth from addiction and idle time
- Digital skilling provides hope and market access
- Income opportunities validate effort and reinforce purpose
- Peer mentorship sustains growth and embeds leadership values
Together, these elements reduce the risk of substance abuse, increase digital inclusion, and open paths to secure, dignified livelihoods.
UdayKriti Kaushal is More Than a Programme. It’s a Pathway.
It’s a pathway to dignity, digital inclusion, and economic independence and independence from drugs and substance abuse.
It puts choice and confidence back into the hands of young people—especially those who’ve been left out of India’s digital and economic growth stories.
